Lyminster pupils get a sneak peak at new Wick store

FILLING shopping bags, piling trollies high with groceries and learning how to make pizza were just some of the lessons primary school pupils in Lyminster had to contend with.

Last week, around 30 year-three and four pupils from the Lyminster Primary School were able to get a sneak peek of the new Morrisons store, in Wick, days before it officially opened.

The children were taken on a tour of the new shop, which opened on Monday (February 10).

They were also given a chance to watch how pizzas are made and bread and cakes were baked.

Year-four teacher, Jonathan Mott, said it was part of a project to get the pupils to understand how supermarkets worked.
