Just the job for careers advice

The event, which has been organised by the Newhaven Community Employment Partnership (NewCEP), will offer work information, advice and training at the Denton Island Training and Business Centre on February 27 from 10.30am-3pm.

Also in attendance will be Job Centre Plus, Sussex Downs College, Sussex Careers and local businesses.

Amber Wells, from NewCEP, said: 'We can show people how to write an eye-catching CV, how to impress at an interview, how to find a job on the internet or what training is available locally. Local employers will also be there to offer advice and information about current job vacancies.

'This is the opportunity for residents in Newhaven, Seaford and Peacehaven to drop in for some employment advice over a cup of tea.'
