Jubilee planting at Rye’s Valley Park
A JUBILEE oak will is to be planted at the entrance of Valley Park with Udimore Road on Sunday.
The planting, which takes place at 3pm, has been arranged by a jubilee planning group on which the Town Council, Churches Together and Rye College are represented.
The tree has been sponsored by the developers, Aroncorp, and will make a feature at the entrance to Rye and Valley Park.
Residents of Valley Park are particularly welcome at Sunday’s ceremony.
