Jazz band at Bonfire fete

WATERLOO Bonfire Society's annual fete at the Paddock in Lewes on May 28 will be featuring something extra special.

Members are going all-out for entertainment and fun.

There will be stalls from other societies, trade stalls, including a number from the Lewes Farmers Market, new food stalls, and a number of new arena events including the Expedient Jazz Band.

The Expedient will start the day off at noon by playing at the society's headquarters, the Lamb in Fisher Street, before leading a procession of members down to the Paddock for a grand opening by the Mayor at 1pm.

The traditional jazz band will play throughout the afternoon.

There will, as usual, be a bouncy castle and slide, a boot fair and a bonny baby and fancy dress competition.
