Jane to run LondonMarathon for charity l local runner Jane Elcombe

Sarah and Richard Curd, from Peasmarsh, set the trust up in memory of their son Oliver who lost his battle with bone cancer in 2007 aged 9, and now offer local holidays to children with cancer and other life threatening illnesses, including bereaved families.

Jane has been a keen supporter of the charity and has previously completed the Hastings Half Marathon on numerous occasions and also the London to Brighton bike ride.

This year after four years of applying she has finally secured a ballot place for London.
