Hospice makesplea for plants

As part of the Open Gardens season, St Michael’s Hospice will be hosting a Local Plant and Produce Market on Saturday May 16, giving keen gardeners the perfect opportunity to stock up in time for summer.

To ensure there are plenty of plants, the Hospice has sent out a plea to anyone with surplus plants to kindly donate them to the worthy cause.

Sally Beresford, from the hospice, said “This is the first year we have held the Local Plant and Produce Market. We are particularly looking forward to giving local independent retailers a chance to sell their produce, as well as having a wide range of plants on sale at great prices.

Plants can be donated by leaving them near Greenhouse 1 and 2, or by visiting reception at St Michael’s Hospice, Upper Maze Hill, St Leonards on Sea. If you would like to be contacted, please leave contact details with your donation. Contact Sally on 01424 456369.
