High Street turns green

IMPROVEMENT work to Storrington High Street is now complete and traffic lights on the A282 have been removed.

What people may not realise though is that it is not just the traffic lights that have 'turned green' but also the High Street itself.

The work undertaken by local contractor Edburton was specifically designed to have the least environmental impact as possible.

Edburton used approved recycled glass for the laying base for the block paving, which itself was sourced from a local manufacturer Thakeham Tiles Ltd.
