Heart of the Community beats in Sedlescombe
ELEVEN kind members of staff from Axa Healthcare called in to Sedlescombe School to help out recently.
They did numerous outside jobs such as cleaning windows, mending benches, clearing out sheds, gardening jobs and external painting as part of their work for the Heart of the Community scheme.
Headteacher Marian Ham said: “We are extremely grateful to Graham Thomas and Nicola Anderson from Axa for arranging this for us.
“Our school is certainly looking much smarter now!
“The helpers all enjoyed a school meal as a token of our thanks.
“We hope we may have another visit from the team in the future.”
