Green Willow resident Margaret celebrates her 101st birthday

Margaret Beatley celebrated her special day on February 25.

She has lived at the care home since September 2016 , prior to which she lived independently at home.

Margaret had decided that she would like to be looked after in her latter years, and her nephew, Peter, helped her find a good care home.

Margaret spent her birthday with a few family and friends in Green Willow. Margaret remains active despite failing eye sight.

Kim Weeks, one of the care home’s cooks, created a beautiful birthday cake and the home presented her with a magnificent bouquet of flowers.
