First turf for new hall to be cut at big music event

A SENSATIONAL evening of rock, funk, jazz and rock and roll is being held in Barnham.

The Music Night at Murrells Field will take place on Saturday (June 9) and promises to be a fun filled occasion for all the family.

The event, organised by BLADE, the charity raising funds to enable a new hall to be built in the village, and will feature a live DJ, a Queen tribute band and a West End London party band.

The cutting of the first turf for the new hall will take place at 6.30pm.

Other entertainment includes a funfair and side stalls selling refreshments.

The entertainment will run from 6pm until 11pm at Murrells Field next to Barnham village hall on Yapton Road.
