Fire service called to car blaze in Hailsham in the middle of the night
The fire service said it was called to help deal with a car that had caught alight in Hailsham in the middle of the night.

The incident happened just after 1.20am on Wednesday, July 5, in North Street.
An East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Firefighters from Herstmonceux and Eastbourne were in attendance using two breathing apparatus and one hosereel jet to extinguish the fire. There were no reports of casualties.”
Sussex Police have been contacted for a comment.
