Findon welcomes Olympic heroine Tina home

BRITISH event rider Tina Cook returned home to a rapturous welcome from Findon residents on Saturday morning, following her outstanding Olympic performance in Hong Kong, earning both team and individual bronze medals.

BRITISH event rider Tina Cook returned home to a rapturous welcome from Findon residents on Saturday morning, following her outstanding Olympic performance in Hong Kong, earning both team and individual bronze medals.

She was greeted by banners flying on the A24 north of the village proclaiming 'Well Done Tina' and 'Welcome Home' at the entrance to the village.

Her children, Isabelle (three) and Harry (one) were there to greet her, along with husband Phil, who had flown home two days earlier.
