Farm shop opens near Petworth

KENNY Marshall and Rob Jenkins certainly know their onions when it comes to the wholesale food trade.

And the pair, who have notched up more than half a century in the trade together, are about to prove it.

Today (February 15) they are launching a new joint venture with the opening of their Heath End Farm Shop.

They hope the opening of the new fruit, vegetable and produce shop will be the first of many joint business partnerships for the pair.

Heath End Farm Foods founder Kenny told the Observer: “The aim of our farm shop is to offer as many locally sourced Sussex and neighbouring county products as possible.”

Local suppliers, he said, included Bolney Wines, Hepworth Brewery, WJ King Ales, High Weald Dairy, Paynes Honey, Ringden Farm Apple
Juice, Kent Crisps, Bookhams Pasta and Sauce and many more.

“We offer a warm welcome to all our customers,” said Kenny.

“We have easy access to free parking and offer a wide range of products and affordable prices.

“The words ‘affordable’ and ‘farm shop’ are not usually used in the same sentence, but that is what we intent to deliver to our customers.

“We ask all potential customers to come and see the price difference this weekend.”
