Family drop-in sessions launched in Rustington

RESIDENTS in Rustington can now just pop by for fun, games and education.

Family-friendly drop-in sessions have been launched at the village’s Woodland Centre, and will run every Monday, from 1.30pm-4pm.

The sessions have been organised by the Angmering and East Preston Family Centres, as well as Little Explorers Pre-School and Rustington Parish Council.

Caroline Martin, manager of the centres, said: “At our Monday drop-in sessions we will have fun activities where children learn through play with their parents and carers.

“There will also be toy library resources, plus information on childcare, parenting support, health services, child development, housing, training and returning to work. Come along to meet our team and other local families.

“We are fortunate to have permanent bases in both Angmering, in the library on Arundel Road, and East Preston, in St Mary’s Drive, but it is vital that we also have a presence in Rustington, as this is where a large number of our families with children under five are living.”
