November 18:

Jamie Broom, 36, of Warrior Square, St Leonards, indicated a plea of guilty to destroying a carpet, valued at £270, belonging to the YMCA, at St Leonards on March 2. The court made a community order with a requirement of 40 hours of unpaid work and ordered him to pay £270 compensation.

Joseph Page, 26, of Coronation Gardens, Battle, pleaded guilty to driving a Mercedes vehicle on the A21 at Robertsbridge, on march 14, with cocaine and the controlled drug Benzoylecgonine in his blood stream. He was fined £120 and banned from driving for one year.

Trefor Holloway, 72, of De Cham Road, St Leonards, indicated a plea of guilty to being in breach of a court non-molestation order by making a telephone call at Hastings on June 1. He was fined £180.

David Phillips, 30, of Jubilee Gardens, St Leonards, indicated a plea of guilty to making numerous threatening voice mail messages at Hastings on July 31. He was given a one year conditional discharge.

Gary Mills, 33, of St Johns Road, St Leonards, pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman by beating her. The offence took place at Folkestone, Kent, on February 5. He was also found guilty of assault on a woman, occasioning actual bodily harm, at St Leonards, on August 30. The court made a community order with a requirement of 120 hours of unpaid work. He was ordered to pay £620 in prosecution costs.

Jonathan Paulin, 29, of Caves Road, St Leonards, pleaded guilty to driving a Skoda vehicle on Battle Road, St Leonards, on October 8, with cannabis in his blood stream. He was fined £120 and banned from driving for one year.

Candice Cromack, 29, of Murdock Mews, St Leonards, was found guilty of assault by beating. The offence took place at Hastings on March 13. She was given a two year conditional discharge and ordered to pay £285 compensation and £200 in prosecution costs.

Lee Foley, 41, of Heathlands, Westfield, pleaded guilty to assault by beating. The offence took place at Hastings on March 14. He was given a one year conditional discharge and ordered to pay £100 in compensation.
