3.45 - 5.45pm during term time only. It’s good to know that BJ’s is stocking bags for doggie doings. This will help with the on going problem caused by owners who don’t clear up after their pooches. There were just a couple of incidents on the beach this week. PC Nigel Collins reports that a Canon camera was stolen from underneath a towel on the beach. He reminds us that it is important not to leave things unattended on the beach, especially when they are valuable. The other problem took the form of a bone washed up on the beach. Early concerns that it was human were allayed by a doctor called in , he assured everyone that it was an animal bone. Whew! Flip Flops Pre School had a great Jubilee event last Friday, they raised £144.40 towards school funds. The children enjoyed a teddy bears picnic, hook a duck, and a bouncy castle. There were cakes for sale and ‘hads a lot of fun,’

donated face painting. Our Jubilee village fete will happen this Saturday, the Residents Association have been working hard to provide us with a great event. It starts on Jubilee Green at noon with a competition to find the Queen of Camber. You still have time to put your children’s name down. Ring Trish, 224 403 to enter. It’s for the

5 - 12 year olds. There will be a spit roast around 1.30pm. There’s a tug o war between the Dunes Bar and the Green Owl, belly dancers, egg and spoon race, sack race, a three legged race and all sorts of stalls. Come prepared for donkey rides too. It isn’t too late to offer your gazebo either, ‘just in case.’ Trish 224 403 or Ann 222 474 will arrange collection if necessary. As you can see there is a lot of effort gone into arranging this for us. Show your appreciation by attending.
