Buzz at Bexhill College Comic Relief talent show

THERE was stardom in the air at Bexhill College when they held a BC's Got Talent show to raise money for Comic Relief.

Students and staff swarmed into the refectory at lunchtime to witness the event.

Judging the various turns were; Dave Brown (director of teaching and learning), Karen Hucker (college principal) and Bexhill College’s mascot the BC Bee (pictured).

The acts included a rock band, a Korean dance group, a number of singers including a group which performed Cher’s classic Shoop Shoop song, and even a Susan Boyle-alike who turned out to be a member of staff.

The audience was then asked to vote for favourite acts by donating their spare change to them.

The winner of the show was student Cynthia Makaula, whose stunning performance of the song by Adele, To Make You Feel My Love, blew everyone away.

The college also put on a cake sale, rowing races, fancy dress-up and more to generate money - more than £400 was raised.
