Borde Hill's great 'find'

A wealth of experience gained at the Lost Gardens of Heligan has come to the award-winning gardens of Borde Hill, where Malcolm Goodwin has been appointed as the new head gardener.

Recently head of the horticultural team at Stansted Park as head gardener, Malcolm was previously manager of the Southern Gardens at the Lost Gardens of Heligan.

There he managed a team of 13 staff and was responsible for the preservation of the plant collections of bamboos, proteas, palms, rhododendrons and magnolias. He initiated several landscape development projects and was responsible for grassland management.
