Bodiam village voice

Bodiam Church of England Primary School PTA is to have an Olympic theme quiz night on July 13, 6.30pm for 7pm start. Teams of six at £6.50 per person. More information and forms from the school office.

The textile bank at Levetts Lane is in aid of Banardos. This is vital to raise funds to help support work with children and young people and families. It is near the other recycling units.

At the last parish council Geoffrey Goodsell was unanimously re-elected chairman with Barbara Napper re-elected as vice chairman.

The Levetts Lane Residents Association meets on June 11, 7.30pm in the Parish Room. The association run the boot sale at the fun day on August 27 in the Castle Inn garden for its funds. For more information and to book a boot, phone Tracey on 01580 830981.

The Mencap charity fundraiser event in Levetts Lane made £440. A huge thank you to all who contributed towards its success. For a small village in two days, with the Bodiam Pre-School jumble sale, Bodiam raised £613. I feel that is very good.
