Bodiam

Famous People: Bodiam has many people who have appeared on TV and Radio, Graham Peters has been on the television , both BBC and ITV, also Patrick Stevens from Longacre was on television and the other day was on Radio 5 Live at about 5.30a.m. and I, when I was about 13 was on BBC Top of the Form but I only made one appearance.(Why was that?).

Viv Half Marathon: Bodiam please do not forget Viv the clerk to Bodiam Parish Council is to run in the St Albans Half Marathon on Sunday 14th June for Cancer Research, so if anyone would like to sponsor her I have the sponsorship forms or just phone me on 01580 830211.

School General Election: Full marks to Bodiam Church of England Primary School who ran a General Election. A little five year old phoned me up and and told me that she had voted blue and asked me did I vote? The school had a colour to vote for. I feel this is very good for our little people, gets them interested.

Helen Dawson: I will give a full report of the one and only Helen Dawson. The service took place at St Giles on the 18th May at 9.30a.m.

Cricket: The village Cricket Club take on Etchingham at home on the 24th May, start 2p.m.
