Twenty-three traders in the village have joined forces to put together a voucher scheme that is valid during the whole of this month.

The scheme is part of a national inititive to promote shopping in village and town centres at a time when many small traders are feeling the pinch from on-line shopping and the recession.

Hurstpeirpoint has a good range of independent shops, selling fashion, accessories, fine wines and food.
