Bank holiday bin collection
Rubbish and recycling collections in Rother will be made on bank holiday Mondays this summer.
Rother District Council's contractor, Verdant, will pick up rubbish and recycling from households even if their usual collection times fall on the May 25 and August 31 holidays. This also includes the collection of clinical waste.
The arrangement ensures there will be no knock-on effects for other homes in Rother, as bins and boxes will be emptied on the usual day.
