Attention to detail as WI looks world-wide

WHEN seeking gifts at WI sales it pays to explore fully.

Beneath each hand-knitted egg cosy at Sidley WI's cake, craft and book sale last Friday afternoon was an egg cup.

...And hidden in each egg was an Easter egg.

The event was in aid of the work of the Associated Countrywomen of the World.

Within minutes of the sale opening, delicious home-made cakes had "flown" off their stall, such was the demand.

In addition to those painstakingly created egg cosies, the craft stall boasted an impressive range of hand-made greetings cards.

An enticing array of bottles and flowers graced the raffle table. The book stall was packed with recommended reading.
