Artists open their homes to display best work

Artists will again be opening their homes in Felpham during the bank holiday weekend.

Some 20 individuals will be putting their works on show in the homely surroundings of their domestic properties. They can be visited between 10am and 5pm on Saturday, Sunday and Monday Augsut 23, 24 and 25.

This year's open-house art trail stretches into the village centre for the first time. Among the newcomers is Peartree Cottage in Vicarage Lane.

The latest trail involves nine properties including Jackie's White Horse Studio in Canning Road.

Others are in Clyde Road, Sea Road and The Fox pub. One of the event's founders, artist Jackie Bellamy, said: "It's nice because the trail evolves each year. We do have a lot of visitors."
