Arsonists destroy 14 cars in 11 days in Littlehampton and Wick

Littlehampton fire crews were called to the A259 Littlehampton by-pass just after 4.30am on Saturday (April 9), where the parked car was in flames.

Last week, police offered a £500 reward for information on a spate of arson attacks in and around the Wick area.

Chief inspector Jane Derrick, Arun police district commander, said: ““Deliberately setting light to anything has serious consequences and I would urge anyone who has any information or may have seen anything to contact us urgently before someone is seriously injured or affected.”
