The focus on stopping the break-ins will be on shopping areas and business premises with high visibility patrols.

Parking problems on Fish Lane and Pryors Lane and speeding along Rose Green Road are also seen as needing action.

Fixed penalty notices are being issued by police community support officers, such as Nick Baker, where necessary.

A speed indication device is being used along Rose Green Road to estimate the volume of offences.
