Smiles at Polegate care home after the CQC rates it ‘good’ in all areas

The inspectors were full of praise for colleagues at The Polegate, highlighting the ways in which they provide care for residents at the home.

This sentiment was echoed by residents, who made remarks such as “the staff
 are very helpful”, “they are very kind, caring and patient” and that the environment is “very caring” with relatives also remarking that the staff are “lovely and always smiling”.

Inspectors noted the 
level of support that was provided to residents to ensure they were able to 
take part in activities and hobbies they enjoyed, with the home offering a large variety of activities to accommodate for different interests.
