Every year, the Lions appeal to local schools to contribute toys, clothes, stationary and toiletries to be sent to poor families in Belarus – a country still badly affected by the Chernobyl nuclear disaster some 26 years ago.

Pictured are some of the children with Leo, the Lions’ mascot.
