This East Sussex doctors' surgery building is to be sold at an auction broadcast via livestream

Acuitus commercial property auctioneers announced on Friday, February 2, that the The Ice House, Rock-a-Nore Road, in Hastings Old Town will be up for sale.

The company said the Acuitus commercial property auction will take place on Thursday, February 15 (1pm).

Acuitus said the 7,622 square foot property, which is being sold on behalf of joint receivers, comprises seven stories and currently produces an annual rental income of £125,255. They said it has a guide price of £1.25m, adding that the new 20 year lease from completion (subject to option) benefits from three-yearly rent reviews. The auction will be broadcast via livestream on the Acuitus website with bidding online, by telephone and by proxy.

A spokesperson for NHS Sussex said: “Hastings Old Town Surgery leases space in the Ice House building and we are aware the property is up for sale.

“A change of ownership of the building does not affect the running of the surgery and there are no changes planned in regard to this branch of Hastings Old Town Surgery.”
