The two and a half metre tall “Elf House” is one of the new installations provided by businesses within the Bognor Regis Improvement District, to add more light and cheer to the town centre atmosphere this Christmas and will be installed at the junction of High Street and London Road.

A spokesperson for Bognor Regis BID said: “We’re so happy this very special visitor has chosen Bognor Regis as their temporary home over Christmas, and can’t wait for them to arrive.

"They have quite a demanding rider, so we’re now carrying out essential decoration to their bijou Alpine studio to make sure everything’s exactly right in time for the town centre lights being switched on this coming Saturday.

"Our special Elf is going to be very busy from December 1 right through to Christmas Eve when he’ll be out and about, visiting our excellent local businesses. Keep your eyes peeled to

see if you can find him hiding in windows around the town centre. There’ll be daily clues on Facebook and Instagram, so make sure you like and follow christmasbognorregis on social media.”

BID chairman, Jason Passingham added: “The extra installations you’ll see round the town this year have been fully funded by BID Levy paying businesses as part of the overall Christmas decorations for the festive period.

"We had some really positive comments from passers by when the Elf House was delivered, and it’s already generating a huge response on social media – even before it’s decorated! We’re all looking forward to the beautiful town Christmas Lights coming on over the course of the day on the 28 th November, and businesses reopening on December 2.”
