Polari on its way back to Printworks

London’s award-winning LGBT literary salon Polari returns to Hastings on Wednesday July 29, continuing its six month residency at The Printworks, Claremont, funded by Arts Council England.

Hosted by author Paul Burston, who recently moved to Hastings, this will feature the best in established and up-and-coming LGBT literary talent.

Tickets cost £8 (£6 concession) for the event which starts at 7.30pm, doors open at 7pm, and this second evening will boast the breathtaking talents of David McAlmont, Jane Czyzselska, John McCullough and All The Nice Girls.

Polari began in 2007 in a pub in Soho and is now based at the Southbank Centre every month. Authors and performers who’ve performed at Polari include Jake Arnott, Joanna Briscoe, Maureen Duffy, Fenella Fielding, Patrick Gale, Celia Imrie, Adam Mars-Jones, Ali Smith and Sarah Waters.
