On Wednesday July 22 Bexhill Museum’s latest guided walk - to Norman’s Bay and The Sluice - will take place.

It will explore this tiny settlement and its long and exciting history.

Hear about smuggling, defending the realm and a beached whale among other things.

Meet at The Star Inn, Norman’s Bay for 2pm. The walk is about 2 miles, taking about 2 hours. £3 per adult, £1.50 for accompanied children. Sorry no dogs. Bexhill Museum has a programme of guided walks under the title ‘Stepping Out’ to inform and entertain the public. A wide range of subjects has been presented ranging from walks around the town to countryside walks like one recently to Brightling to see the follies of Mad Jack Fuller.
