A lorry and two other vehicles were involved in a collision at Bolney Cross Service Station this afternoon (Friday January 16).

Emergency services were called at about 1.05pm.

The incident blocked part of the A272 Cowfold Road, eastbound between the Chapel Road junction and Bolney Cross.

A spokesperson for South East Coast Ambulance Service said: “A female patient suffering from chest pain was assessed and treated at the scene.

“She was given advice but did not require any hospital treatment.”

Shortly after the collision, a Sussex Police spokesperson said: “The collision has blocked the road and we are currently arranging for the vehicles to be recovered.”
