Police alert after report of trees ‘poisoned’ in village near Horsham

Police have been alerted after a resident in a village near Horsham reported that some trees at his property had bneen ‘poisoned.’

Officers say that the man reported that three trees at his home in Five Oaks Road, Slinfold, had been attacked on January 17.

A police spokesman said: “The owner reported there were drill holes into which toxin may have been poured.”
