Children record poetry for hospital radio station

Year three pupils at St Nicolas and St Mary's Primary School recorded their own poems to be aired on a hospital radio show.

Four children visited Seaview Radio at Southlands Hospital to make the recording of their poetry, which included sound poems, pattern poems and historical poems.

Teacher Joe MacAllister said: “The children love reading out loud and hold a weekly poetry competition in class.
