OPERA singer Diana Montague will be bringing high class singing to the parish church of Bognor Regis.
Diana is one of the most distinguished artists of her generation and has performed in London’s Covent Garden, the Metropolitan Opera in New York and Glyndebourne. She has worked with the English National Opera and Royal Opera House.
She will be joined at St Wilfrid’s Church in Ellasdale Road for her charity concert at 7pm on July 21 by her children, Huw, Eleanor and Amelia.
As well as opera, their concert will include lighter music from films and musicals.
The event has been organised by Diana’s brother, Stuart Montague, the manager of the Aldwick House Care Home.
He supports the Gambia Upcountry Development Charity – formed by Five Villages’ residents David and Janet Underwood – to provide and run a nursery school in the African nation.
Tickets cost £5 each and are available from the St Wilfrid’s parish office and Aldwick House on 01243 842244.
