LOUD, bright and colourful – that’s the promise for this weekend’s illuminations gala in Bognor Regis.
The annual Sunday night crowd-puller has 20 entries so far.
Greg Burt, of the organisers at Bognor Regis Seafront Lights, said: “However, despite a now healthier line-up due to the usual flurry of last minute entries, entries are still welcomed and can be accepted right up until the day before.”
Entries can be floats, prams, bicycles and walking groups. Contact him on 07739 506275.
This year’s line-up will be led by the Horndean Marching Band. It will also include lights’ mascot, Billy the Bulb, and an open-top Southdown vintage bus.
The parade will leave West Park at 8.30pm and finish at the pier. Fireworks will soar from the pier at 10pm followed by the prize-giving at 10.15pm opposite.
A Bottons funfair will on The Esplanade from tomorrow to Monday to lead to its closure.
