GOODWOOD Revival 2012 kicks off today (Friday, September 14) with vintage cars and aircraft making their way to the site.
This year’s event will celebrate a number of anniversaries in motor sport, including the Silver Arrows and the AC Cobra.
Motor racing legend Dan Gurney will be the subject of Goodwood’s annual driver tribute this weekend, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of his maiden Grand Prix victory.
The event’s fashion experts will also be on the lookout for the most stylish ladies and dapper gentleman for the Best Dressed Man and Lady Awards.
There will only be one race today – the Freddie March Memorial Trophy – but drivers will be taking to the track to get a feel of the course.
Our reporters and photographers will be at Revival today and over the weekend. Updates and photographs will be uploaded later.
