Nashville’s Don Gallardo plays one of his favourite Sussex venues with a date at Chichester’s Chichester Inn on Friday, March 27 from 8-11pm.
Spokesman Danny Vogel said: “Don has played the Chichester Inn five times in the past four years and calls it his home away from home.”
Americana/folk singer/songwriter Don hails from a small town in Northern California and spent years cultivating his career on the West Coast before relocating to Nashville, Tennessee in 2007.
“Walking the line between classic 70s singer-songwriters and more contemporary flavours of folk and Americana, Gallardo is a diverse and multi-faceted performer with a lyrical depth and warm and unique vocal style which helps him weave between genres and provides an immediate relatability,” Danny said.
“With three full-lengths, a live acoustic sessions album and an EP under his belt, as well as a fourth full-length to be released on UK label Clubhouse Records, Gallardo has already achieved critical praise and has had his work prominently featured in films.
“Last October Don signed to UK Indie Label Clubhouse Records. He is set to release his new full-length album in June 2015 titled Hickory. He will have advanced copies for his acoustic March 2015 UK tour.”
