Adventures are being staged by young people in Bognor Regis this weekend.
The town’s first activity day, called The Big Adventure, is being held in Hotham Park.
The event on Saturday (July 16) will be packed with a wide range of displays and activities for all ages. All are being staged by dozens of members of the town’s youth organisations.
Scouting district commissioner Vicky Hennessy said: “The aim of the day is to show the people of Bognor the various youth organisations there are in the town and the fact we all work together.”
The fun will take place from 10am-4pm. Some of the activities will see the air scouts offering a zip-wire taster, street dancing by 39 Youth Club members and treating fake wounds by St John Ambulance badgers and cadets.
Girlguiding UK, the town’s Air Training Corps and Sussex Police will also be present.
The event is supported by Bognor Hotham Rotary Club.
