BOGNOR under-eights visited their Worthing counterparts and played on the pitch before Worthing Raiders’ league clash with Henley.
The teams had a joint training session followed by a match for the Darren Crabb Challenge Cup.
Worthing won 6-3 but it was much closer than the scoreline suggests.
Worthing had the advantage of being able to bring on seven fresh players.
The youngsters then formed a guard of honour for the Raiders and Henley Hawks.
Jonathan Vickers, Bognor’s player of the match, was presented with a ball signed by the Raiders squad, as was his Worthing counterpart.
Bognor’s squad comprised Kayden Short, scorer of two tries, Matthew Corbould, Jonathan Vickers (one try), Hugo Whiteman, Louis Barker, Brynley Yuill and Charlie Parker.
