The Bognor Tuesday Double In Double Out League divisional trebles knockouts took place at the Newtown Social Club.
There was a good turnout with 17 teams taking part.
Division one’s tournament involved nine teams, and the first round saw a 114 out-shot from Derrick Longhurst (Newtown Raiders) and a 116 in-shot from Hayley Gatford (Hunston Club).
The first semi-final saw Longhurst, Dave Mitchell and Karen Wilson (Newtown Raiders) beat Julie O’Hara, Andy Stubbs & Graeme Dutton (Hunston Club).
In the second semi-final Keith Robinson, Andy Chant and Lee Hellyer (Chi Snooker Club) lost to Darren Rich, Darren Whiting and Micky Rowland (Claremont Samba’s).
The final’s first leg began with tons from Whiting and Rowland earning the lead while Longhurst, Mitchell and Wilson struggled. Rowland clinched the leg.
Rich took out single ten and double five to take the win and the division-one trebles title for 2016-17.

Division two saw eight teams step up to the oche. The first round saw a surprise win from the POW ‘A’ team of Emma Bist, Rachel Hall & Anji Evans, who lost to Nick Hales, Dave Owens and James Bartley (The Monters) in the first semi-final.
The second semi-final saw Dougal Powell, Gary Newell and Paul van Ewijk (Old Barn Owls) defeat team-mates Perry Basley, Ian Kewin and Dean Knight.
The final started with Hales taking a 120 in-shot on the way, but Powell also started on the first throw. The Monters pushed into the lead with 99 from Hales and 94 from Owens, leaving 16 for Bartley. But it was Owens who hit the double for the first leg.
The second leg saw the Monters start first again with Old Barn taking their time to find form. Powell hit a 140 and a few more good scores from Newell and van Ewijk helped them get even closer, but the Monters were on their double.
With 52 left Owens slipped and hit single one. His next dart hit the single 19, leaving 32 which he hit with double 16 using his last dart, taking the win and the division-two trebles title for 2016-17.
