Felpham Community College tasted success in key stage three and four badminton competitions.

After playing a number of schools, the FCC boys remained undefeated, meaning the squads were selected to represent West Sussex at the Sussex finals at the K2 centre in Crawley.

After tough competition the key stage four team were knocked out in the semi-finals. However, the key stage three squad were successful and after a nail-biting match in the finals, the boys won the overall competition and became Sussex champions.

The key stage three Felpham boys went on to represent Sussex at a national competition at the Sussex sports park in Surrey.

The boys faced tough competition from England players and were knocked out in the qualifying stages.

Felpham’s key stage three squad came home as the reigning Sussex champions. They will aim to retain their title in next year’s competition.
