This year’s Chichester and District Snooker League winners were Aldwick RBL’s team of Jon Charlton, Craig Pyke, Jason Slingo and Simon Ryan. They won the division from their closest rivals Chi Snooker Club A by 32 points.
The Jock Mair Singles ended in a 3-1 win for Steve Grant over Steve Hardham.
The deciding frame was nip and tuck and Chislett was on the verge of winning the frame and match.
The league singles final was between Charlton and Christian Chislett at Chichester Snooker Club.
Frame one was cagey but was taken by Charlton with a break of 43 before Chislett levelled at 1-1 by winning the second.
The third frame was more fluent but some misses from Chislett allowed Charlton to take it.
There was no denying Chislett, though, and a 34 break saw him take the fourth frame.
He led 3-2 after breaks of 26 and 56 but in keeping with the close neature of the game, Chalrton pulled it back to 3-3 in the next.
The deciding frame was nip and tuck and Chislett was on the verge of winning the frame and match – but a poor shot allowed Charlton a chance.
But he went in off the penultimate red to hand the frame and the title to Chislett.
