Joe Devera, who made 43 appearances this season, has also been let go, alongside Ben Chorley, Tom Craddock, Danny East, Nicky Shorey and Bradley Tarbuck.

In addition, Dan Butler has left the Blues, with the club waving any potential for compensation by granting him a free transfer.

More talks are planned with Ryan Taylor, who has been interesting Oxford and Millwall.

However, Pompey have taken up an option on Ben Close to tie him to Fratton Park for another 12 months.

Adam Webster, who impressed at the end of the campaign, has been offered a new deal.
