Rocks Review: Fears expressed over Nightingale and Prior

THE Rocks have worries of different kinds over two of their strikers.

Luke Nightingale is set to miss Saturday’s home clash with Whitstable after limping off during the Walton Casuals win with a knee strain.

He could be out for longer but the Rocks are hopeful nothing serious will show up when they assess him at training tonight.

Meanwhile, League One side Bournemouth are said to be keeping tabs on Jason Prior. The Cherries have recruited a couple of non-league players in the past week, but the Rocks insist no approach or offer has been received for Prior.

Joint manager Jamie Howell said: “I have no doubt Jason will play at a higher level but at the moment he is contracted to us.”
