Two brothers who learned their football with Felpham Colts are dreaming of success at Pompey.
Following in his brother Ozzy’s footsteps is Marley Rishman, who has signed a contract at Fratton Park.
It is a wonderful achievement for Marley to make it into the final ten players who signed for Portsmouth.
Marley, eight, began playing football at Felpham and enjoyed three years with them under the management of his father Steve Rishman.
Steve said: “It is a wonderful achievement for Marley to make it into the final ten players who signed for Portsmouth.
“They looked at 185 boys during the last year he’s been training with them.’
The brothers both turned out for Pompey against Wimbledon recently. It was Marley’s debut after signing while Ozzy, 11, has also signed a new contract for the coming season at under-12 level.
The boys will now undertake pre-season training in August and will travel to Portsmouth four times a week to train and play matches against other professional clubs’ academy sides.
