Lions and Blues win again - but Chichester come unstuck

Pagham cemented their third-place position in division one of the Sussex League with a 2-0 home win over Redhill.

The result means Carl Stabler’s in-form team are just six points behind Three Bridges.

Selsey’s superb run of form continued with a 2-0 victory at Sidley - their third win on the trot. Ian Martin will be delighted to see his side up to eighth place.

But Chichester went down 2-0 at Hailsham and are in danger of losing touch with the top three.

In division two, Sean Dummer’s goal was enough for Midhurst to beat Steyning 1-0 at Rotherfield.

Bosham’s challenge near the top of division three faltered with a 2-0 loss at Dorking.

Sidlesham went down 2-0 at Rottingdean but Barnham beat Uckfield 4-1.
