It's another loss to the Bognor squad a few days after striker Dan Smith's move to Eastleigh was confirmed.

Campbell returned to Bognor for a second Nyewood Lane spell after time at Eastbourne Borough. He had been a popular member of the squad after signing for the Rocks when they were in the National League South in 2017-18.

The 23-year-old has joined Tonbridge Angels to move back up to step two of the non-league game.

Campbell spent two seasons at Eastbourne and has also enjoyed spells at Bromley, Dulwich Hamlet and Merstham.

Tonbridge boss Steve McKimm said: “I’m delighted Kristian has agreed to join us to strengthen our defensive options. He is always eager to get forward and plays with a strong commitment as Angels supporters may recall when we suffered a 2-0 away defeat by his previous club last season.”

Tonbridge were 15th in National South when the season ended early.
