Dads’n’lads proved to be a force in Chichester Priory Park fourths’ final league game.
Captain Barnes watched with pride as the young players and dads went through their paces against mature and experienced opponents.
Steve Parker shone with 86, Henry Condron hit 23, Aiden Sheppard 18, Will Parker 17, with debut dad Steve Price not out on 14.
Sam Price took two for 21 off seven overs, while Viran Chudasama took two for 28 and was unlucky not to take the final wicket. Barnes took three for 15 off four overs.
A target of 202 proved to be an unreachable target for the visitors and their total of 165 meant Chichester took a well-deserved maximum-points win.
Unable to avoid relegation, Chichester proved availability is key to getting results.
